A few good questions
Before you jump in.
When will I be charged?
Your card is saved when you back an idea. Payment happens after the creator finishes and the 7-day review period ends, or when all backers have voted. If 60% or more of votes are positive, all backers pay. Below that, negative voters are not charged; positive voters and non-voters pay. If nobody votes, all backers pay.
Does the creator have to be on Bounty?
No. You can add a YouTube or Twitch channel and start a bounty before its creator joins. Only the channel owner can claim it, and it’s their choice whether to accept an idea.
What if the idea doesn’t get made?
An unaccepted bounty expires after a month. Accepted work that misses its deadline is canceled. Backers aren’t charged for either. You can remove your backing before acceptance; the person who started the bounty must cancel it to remove their initial backing.
